One of the foods we made yesterday for my post birthday and at the same time Easter celebration : )
Ingredients:
400g fusilli pasta
4 cups pre-made spicy tomato and cheese sauce
1 cup bell peppers, deseeded and diced
3 tbsp chopped horseradish tree (malunggay)
3 cloves of garlic chopped
1 small tomato, deseeded and diced
small onion chopped
basil
thyme
salt
pepper
Procedures:
1. Cook the pasta. You may follow the instructions written at the back of the package or you can cook it using family traditions. We did it using the traditional way. Make sure the pasta are al dente. Drain the water.
2. In a small wok, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add the onions and tomatoes.
3. Add the bell peppers then mix well until combined but don't over cook to maintain the crunchiness of the bell peppers.
4. Add the pre-made sauce then mix thoroughly.
5. Add the horseradish tree then stir.
6. Add salt and pepper according to your liking. Add basil and thyme. Continue stirring and let it simmer for about a minute or two.
7. On a nice plate, arrange the cooked pasta.
8. Place the sauce on top then serve! : )
