The Big Coconut: Lettuce Wilts Too Fast

We usually buy bundles of lettuce to make either salads or sandwiches but sometimes we don't use all of it. We store them in the fridge and thought about using them the next day, but it so happens that they wilt and turn soggy to fast. It's because moisture tends to make lettuce wilt. The best thing you should do is to make sure they are dry; place them in a bowl then put a piece of paper towel on top of the lettuce before covering the bowl with cling wrap. The paper towel inside with the lettuce will help absorb moisture and prevent the lettuce from wilting.
