Recipes to Share: Garlic Rice

Here's an easy and quick way to make garlic rice. Garlic is known to lower blood pressure. Although you might suffer from bad breath a day or two, just think of the brighter side that you'll have a normal blood pressure. : )

Ingredients:
2 serving bowls of cooked rice
2 heads of garlic peeled and chopped
salt
pepper

Procedure:
1. Sauté garlic in a medium-sized wok over medium fire. Careful not to over-fry the garlic because the taste of over-fried garlic would be bitter and that will ruin the taste of the garlic rice; I'm sure we don't want to eat bitter garlic rice, do we? : )

2. When the garlic starts to turn brown, add the cooked rice gradually, and mix. Add salt and pepper to taste.  Make sure you mix the rice and garlic thoroughly so that there won't be any clumps. Mix until the rice is well heated and slightly brownish.

Garlic rice is paired best with any fried food. Especially Lechon Kawali : )
