Tired of the same old french fries? Here's a new mouth-watering treat that can be a good alternative for french fries.Since we all know that french fries is loaded with calories, here's something new, yet guilt-free to eat! : )
Ingredients:
1 kg sweet potatoes peeled and sliced into sticks
salt
pepper
Procedure:
1. Peel and slice the sweet potatoes into sticks
2. After peeling and slicing the sweet potatoes into sticks, deep fry it in medium-high heat.
3. Fry the sweet potato sticks until it's slightly brown. Don't over-fry it because it would be to hard to chew the fries and we don't want to lose one of our teeth now, do we? : ) After it's done, season with a little salt and pepper.
Alternatives:
***You can make Filipino fries as your dessert by making it sweet. After the fries is cooked, caramelized about 10 tbsp (or more) of sugar over low heat. When the sugar becomes sticky, that's the time you'll add the fries. Mix well until the caramelized sugar sticks well to the fries. Enjoy!
