The Big Coconut: How to Core Tomatoes

Here's a quick and easy way to core tomatoes! : )

1. Place the tomato on its side, holding it steady with one hand.

2. Just outside the core and next to the stem, insert a small knife about 1 inch into the tomato.

3. Rotating the tomato as you cut, carve a full circle around the stem end, keeping the point of the knife angled towards the center.

4. Remove the core.

5. Wash the tomato with clean water.
