The Big Coconut: Making Spice Label

Let's admit it! : ) Sometimes we don't buy our spices that are bottled because they cost to much. We usually buy spices that are repacked and after using it, all we do is pour them in a small container then leave it without labeling the bottle. We don't usually think that the next time we need to use one of those spices again, we will have a hard time figuring out what kind of spice is there inside the bottle. So to lessen the burden of figuring out spices or smelling each spice until you sneeze, here's a simple way to label bottles. : )

1. Download a template for spice labels from the internet or you can make you own by using your artistic skills.

2. Decide on a theme for your labels. Since spice jars are usually displayed or stored together, you may want to add something, like a plant picture of the specific spice you're going to place in each bottle.

3. Cut into desired shapes or sizes that suits the size of your bottles.

4. Stick the labels according to the spices. Make sure they are stuck well so that they won't fall off. It's a good idea to have a transparent covering above the labels so that the label won't be erased.
