Garlic is one of the most basic spices and it has been added almost to every dish. There are many ways to cook garlic, but the most favorite way of cooking garlic is to roast them. Roasting garlic makes the garlic crispy and if you add this to dishes, it will give the food a nice aroma. Roasted garlic are usually added as toppings, flavor, and sometimes they could be eaten right away especially for garlic-lovers.
Here are some easy steps to roast garlic. : )
1. Get a whole garlic and cut off the top using a sharp knife. Cutting off the top will help the heat to circulate inside.
2. Using a small foil, wrap it around the garlic including the bottom, but leave the top open.
3. Drizzle some oil on the top, and you may add some spices if you like.
4. Place it inside of the oven and bake it at 350 degrees for 40 minutes until the tops become brown but not burnt.
5. After baking, let it cool and start peeling off the skin. You may add this to dishes whole or crushed.
