Italian Name: Parmigiano-Reggiano
It was created in the time of the Middle Ages in the province of Reggio Emilia and based on findings, the traditional process on how to create Parmesan Cheese is observed today which means that the quality of this cheese really original.
Parmesan cheese is made from cow's milk. It is hard and you need a saw to cut it. The smell is sweet with a pineapple taste and the color of the rind ranges from yellow to orange.

Parmesan Cheese is great with soups, pasta and salads. It is usually shaved or grated on dishes as garnish.
