The Big Coconut: Freezing Leftover Sauces

Sauces when cooked properly will last for a long time. But what should we do with leftover sauces? We freeze them - in ice trays!
Ice trays come in different mould shapes and sizes but what you need is the normal silicone ice tray that makes regular shaped ice cubes. Silicone ice trays are better than plastic or metallic ones because since silicone is rubbery, you can just pop out ice cubes using your two thumbs rather than smashing those plastic or metal ones on the sink. So, the cool thing about this technique is that, if you only need a few sauce to add on to your dish, you certainly do not have to thaw all of the sauce just to get some of it and freeze the remaining again. Just pop up some cubes in the sauce pan to thaw and reheat, then you're good to go!~

  1. What you're saying is completely true. I know that everybody must say the same thing, but I just think that you put it in a way that everyone can understand. I'm sure you'll reach so many people with what you've got to say.
